But when his Nephew, Talus, invented the saw, Daedalus threw him off the acropolis. Some people thought that Talus died, and that daedalus tried to hide it by burying him, some thought that Athena turned him into a Partridge.
Daedalus is an athenian craftsman, known for his great innovations and build things.
For that, Daedalus decided to travel to the Island of Crete, that's when he befriended King Minos, and also there he continued his building spree.
Daedalus built a cow suit for Pasiphae, the queen of Crete, so she could do something with a bull. This results in the Minotaur. King Minos, told Daedalus to put the terrible monster into a maze, in which Daedalus made a Labyrinth for it. The Minotaur demands human sacrifices, in which King Minos put seven women and men in the labyrinth to die.
One of the men was Theseus, who killed the minotaur.
One of the men was Theseus, who killed the minotaur. Adriane, Minos' Daughter, falls in love with Theseus. Daedalus helped them escape with a ball of yarn. Angered, Minos sent Daedalus to the Labyrinth, along with his son.
Daedalus was a crafty man, and he built the labyrinth, so he knew his way out the labyrinth. He then made wings for both himself and his son, to escape Crete. Fortunately, they worked!
And so they flew out the island of Crete. With the wings, they were able to fly. But due to Icarus' stupidity, he flew too close to the sun, and fell down to his death. Daedalus called the sea where he died as Icarian Sea.
Daedalus then built a temple to surrender the wings to apollo, and after that, he lived in Sicily, and became a friend of Cocalus. What's more is that Cocalus' daughters killed the King of Crete.
