  • (1)   Come back to bed, you are getting cold.
  • (2) It's colder for my son.
  • (3) Oh! You can wish for my son back! Find the monkey's paw!
  • (1) I wish for my son back.
  • Where is the paw!
  • It's Herbert! It's really him!
  • *knocking loudly at the door*
  • Ah ha I found the paw! I wish for the knocking to stop!
  • In this scene Mrs. White is crying because Herbert, her son, is dead. Mr.White is calling for her to come back to bed and then Mrs. White remembered the monkey's paw and she can wish for her son back.  *Close camera shots of Mrs.White crying * *sad music is playing*
  • Help me open the door! I can't get the door open!
  • *knocking on the door*
  • Mr. White is wishing for his son, Herbert, back.  *close shots of the paw*
  • Mr. and Mrs. White hear knocking at the door. Mrs. White thinks its Herbert so she tries to pen the door but she can't open the door. At this time Mr.White is also looking for the paw to wish the  knocking away. *camera angle is close to the ground where Mr. White is looking for the paw* *suspenseful music playing*

  • In this scene Mr.white found the paw right before Mrs.White finally got the door open to try to see "Herbert" or what was knocking and realized nothing was there. *high camera angle looking down on them* *suspenseful music playing*
  •   Mr.White did wish for the knocking to go away because he knew that his son will never same again and he learned his lesson from the paw, be careful of what you wish for. Mrs. White  opened the door, went outside and saw Herbert wasn't there. She then starts to cry once again.  *camera angle close up to their faces* 
  • In this scene Mr. White visited Mrs.White and Herbert's grave. He died right next to it and the paw was on the gravestone. *birds eye view camera angle*  *suspenseful music*
