The Sacrament of Matrimony
By: Caitlyn Groleau
Matrimony celebrates the covenant between a man and a woman to establish a partnership for the whole of life.
The sacrament of matrimony's symbols are rings, the unity candle and the veil.
The rings represents Gods never ending love. The unity candle represents the couples marriage as Catholics. The veil represents the love to his/her wife/husband.
The sacrament of matrimony is a promise that each partner would love each other and stay together through thick and thin.
Youth participate in this sacrament because most people can't wait until they have someone to be with for the rest of their life.
