PERCY WETMORE antagonist -Small, scrawny man. younger than the others. -In the beginning he does show some remorse towards his actions. -Percy is a very cruel human filled with anger and hatred for everyone and everything around him. -His motivation was to irritate and inflict pain on those around him. -Main protagonist, added drama and negative feelings to the plot.
"WILD BILL" secondary character -another younger man, rugged/dirty appearance -Makes light of all situations and jokes round often. -Rude and self centered, makes snippy comments to agitate others -He was on the green mile so he didnt have much motivation. His main actions were directed towards making comments/ giving feedback to the guards and other prisoners. -Wild Bill was used in the story to add extra details that needed to come from an outside source.
