  • As a kid Woodrow Wilson did not learn to read until he was ten and some believed he may have had dyslexia. Woodrow Wilson later became a professor at Princeton where he developed a national reputation for his educational reform policies.

  • Woodrow Wilson was the governor of New Jersy from 1910 to 1912 and won the Presidential election in 1913 as a Democrat. The Republican house was split with Taft and Roosevelt so Woodrow Wilson won. He rode into his inauguration on a horse drawn carriage.

  • Wilson established the National Park Service in 1916 to protect and care for our national parks.

  • For all the women out there
  • Most of Wilson's presidency dealt with World War 1. Wilson wanted to stay out of the conflict with the rest of the world.
  • On Wilson's second term in office the Germans sent a letter called Zimmerman's note to Mexico trying to get Mexico to make an alliance with Germany against America. It was then that Wilson decided to go to war.
  • Wilson pushed for the 19th amendment which gave women the right to vote. The amendment was passed in 1920.
