The people began to arm themselves and gathered around a fortress in Paris named Bastille. This confused the gourds and a battle broke out which is now called The Storming of Bastille, the French verion of 4th of July.
Soon, the National Assembly takes full control of the government and ended Feudalism. This took away all the special privileges of the 2nd estate. They also made The Declaration of the Rights of Man. This was a document that promised everyone, "freedom, equality, fraternity."
We shall now pick on the nobles and make their lives miserable.
As more riots broke out, the king feared that one day the riots are going to come to him. Because of this, he decided to try to run away from Paris. He was caught and convicted of treason. The very next day after he was trialed, he faced the guillotine. Where he was beheaded in front of a large crowd.
