Storyboard Text

  • There was once a young warrior whose bride died on the eve of their wedding. Although he was a brave strong warrior, the death left the young man devastated. He was unable to eat or sleep and spent all his time at the grave of his bride.
  • One day he came across a group of elders talking about the path to the spirit world. He listened for careful instructions to memorize the path. And soon set out in search of his beautiful bride.
  • After two weeks of traveling he saw no change in the landscape and began to wonder if there even was a spirit world. But then he emerged from the forest and met an ancient old wise man to ask for directions. The wise man set him in the path to his wife.
  • On the path to find his wife, the young warrior learned many new things about the spirit world. Some of the spirits in canoes were swept away by the storm, these were the people who have been evil in life. But since both the warrior and his wife were good, they were safe from the storm.
  • He finally met his wife on the shore and took her hand. They had not walked ten steps together when a soft sweet voice spoke to them. It was the Master of life.
  • The Master proclaimed to the young warrior that he must return home as he came. It was not his time yet. He was to trace his steps carefully back to his body.
