  • Banquo is an enemy to my kingdom. I can not stand every minute that he still lives it huts me inside. Please go out, find Banquo and kill him in the name of Scotland.
  • It will be done your majesty. That tyrant shall be slain tonight.
  • It is done. The tyrant Banquo has been killed in the name of Scotland.
  • Why are you here Banquo! You are dead! I had you killed you tyrant! Is my mind deceiving me? Am I going mad?
  • This scene is important in act three as Macbeth is afraid of Banquo so he decides to tell the people that Banquo is an enemy. He then orders his assassination which is important as this order changes Macbeth as a person.
  • This scene is very important in this act as the death of Banquo is a huge event in the story as the death of Banquo haunts Macbeth and is the start of the end of Macbeth.
  • This scene is very important overall in the story as we start to see Macbeth's guilt as he constantly sees Banquo at the dinner table which drives Macbeth insane and we begin to see the fall of Macbeth
