A 9 year old girl who moves to the Planet Venus, with her family.

Storyboard Text

  • Wailed= A give of a cry of pain, grief,or anger     
  • Margot we are moving to Venus. Which we are here at now.
  • Margot don't be rude. We got new jobs.
  • This is a wailed dad!
  • The kids don't like Margot because she is different.
  • Yeah! The suns not coming out.
  • Yes it is the scienctist predict it.
  • The suns not coming out today.
  • According to the story,"But this is the day, the scientist predict, they say, they know, the sun..." "All a joke!" said the boy & seized her roughly. "Hey,everyone, let's put her in a closet before teacher comes!" "No," said Margot, falling back.
  • GET HER!
  • No! Please! Stop!
  • One external conflict in the story is that the other kids don't like Margot because she is different & remembers seeing the sun.
  • Yeah!
  • No you don't!
  • I remember seeing the sun.
  • "It had been raining for seven years; thousands upon thousands of days compounded & filled from one end to the other with rain, with the drum & gush of water, with the sweet crystal fall of showers & the concussion of storms so heavy they were tidal waves come over the islands." The author used this b/c  they wanted to    give you an image of what  Venus looked like.
  • The resolution of the story is when the rain stopped & the other kids realized Margot was right. Then, they all liked her.
  • We're sorry Margot.
  • Me too. Do you forgive us.
  • Its okay & yes I forgive you all.
