Billy Weaver, 17 years old, arrives in Bath, on his way to a suggested pub "The Bell and Dragon"
Billy arrives in Bath
You could probably go to the Bell and Dragon
Where is a nice place that I could go and stay?
Billy notices the 'BED AND BREAKFAST' sign
He comes across a Bed and Breakfast. Billy feels compelled towards the place, as he rings the doorbell he is a little surprised about the landlady who pops up suddenly, like a jack in the box
Each word looks like a large black eye staring at me
BED AND BREAKFAST
The Landlady invites Billy inside
The Landlady shows Billy around the house till they reach his room, the Landlady asks Billy to come down for a cup of tea
While signing the guest book he realized that there were only 2 names, Christopher Mullholland and Gregory Temple. Mullholand came about 3 years before Billy and Temple came roughly about 2 years before Billy came to the BED AND BREAKFAST
After unpacking his things he went down stairs for a cup of tea and so that he could sign the guestbook
Christopher Mullholland? Gregory Temple?
Billy sits with the Landlady for a cup of tea
Billy Weaver and the Landlady have tea and talk about how many people have previously come to the BED AND BREAKFAST. The Landlady tells Billy about the other guests that came about 2 years ago
Billy starts to feel awkward and unsafe
Billy starts to notice some weird things like how all the animals were stuffed. He also tastes bitter almonds (cyanide) in his tea which obviously he did not enjoy
Temple, Gregory Temple . Excuse my asking, but haven't there been any other guests here except them in the last two or three years?
That's good. Because later on, if I happen to forget what you were called, then I can always come down here and look it up.
