Hercules lives with normal parents and is rejected by society because of his abnormal strength.
Hercules finds out he was adopted, and his parents show him a medallion he had when he was found. This leads him to seek out where he came from. He visits the temple of Zeus where the statue of Zeus explains that he can get his power back if he does something truly heroic.
