Gregory's mother told the whole family to sign a petition for unplugging to all of their electronics for the whole weekend. She was even going to stores and asking other people to sign it. She needed at least 100 people to sign the petition in order to take it in the Town Hall.
Gregory and his friend, Rowley made a lemonade stand because Gregory's father wanted Gregory to get a job and have a business. Gregory didn't want to do it alone so he got a business partner, Rowley.
They didn't get enough money so Gregory's brother, Rodrick had to also get his own job which was not good. For his job, he had to wear a giant costume to make it look like he was this fictional character from a cartoon. All of the little childs hated him and were scared of "Rodrick".

Rodrick got fired and the whole family was disappointed and sad at the same time for him. They all knew that he hated his job and did not like kids at all! But, he didn't have a job after all...
Gregory went to camp with some boys and they all got in trouble. When Gregory's father found out, Gregory got in BIG trouble. He learned a lesson on not to to "bad" things...
