Every morning John wakes up with a negative attitude. When his alarm goes off, he pounds his alarm clock, and drags himself to the bathroom to get ready. He is mad that he has to get up early for work.
John gets in the car and finds there is the usual traffic jam which makes his mood even worse. He yells at other drivers and honks his horn.
When John gets to work, his mood carries over into his job and his office relationships. He has a horrible attitude and does not acknowledge anyone. A work friend, Karen, says "Hi" to him and asks how is day is going. John barely responds and he doesn't even turn away from his computer. This makes Karen sad.
After a miserable day, John is finally done with work. He gets in the car to go home and the rush hour traffic puts him in an even worse mood. John comes home to an empty house and a lonely life.
John gets home and starts watching TV. He gets a text....
John sees a picture from Karen. It says, "A great attitude becomes a great mood. Which becomes a great day. Which becomes a great year. Which becomes a great life." John thought about the picture and how he hasn't had a "good day" in a long time. He decides right then that he needs to change his attitude.
