Storyboard Text

  • Arthur, son of the Late King Uther Pendragon, pulls a sword from a stone. This act proves that he is the rightful king of England. At sixteen, Arthur is crowned king and Merlin becomes one of his most valuable advisers.
  • King Arthur institutes the Knights of the Round Table after marrying Guinevere. Only the most worthy of knights may sit at the enormous table created by Merlin. Sir Lancelot becomes one of the mightiest champions for Queen Guinevere. Also, Arthur and Guinevere foster Mordred, the son of Arthur and his half-sister Morgana Le Fay.
  • One of King Arthur's best knights, Sir Lancelot, fell in love with Arthur's wife, Guinevere. In time, Guinevere fell in love with Lancelot as well. This caused King Arthur much pain.
  • King Arthur and His Knights attempt to find the mysterious Holy Grail. They go on many adventures try to find it. Finally, Galahad finds the Holy Grail. However he never returns to Camelot.
  • The other knights were jealous of Guinevere's love for Lancelot. One of them even captured Guinevere and put her in prison. They hoped to kill Lancelot when he came to rescue her. However, Lancelot was successful in saving Guinevere. However, The other knights were still jealous.
  • Mordred and some other knights felt Lancelot and Guinevere were betraying King Arthur. They tried to kill Guinevere for her crimes, but Lancelot stopped them. So Arthur and Lancelot went to war against Mordred and the other knights. Although Arthur succeeds at killing Mordred, Arthur, too, is mortally wounded and dies. Guinevere felt responsible for Arthur's death.
