The Covid-19 pandemic has caused tremendous changes in students lives.
I speak in that regard, being a student myself. In March '2020', schools were closed to ensure the safety of children by the government of Trinidad and Tobago. It has now been 8 months and counting since online learning has been taking place.
My life changed; from being unable to be in a physical classroom and have that social interaction amongst peers, to receiving individual and face to face liaisons with respective teachers.
If its one thing this pandemic has taught me is to appreciate and value my peers and teachers for the support and dedication that they give to students.
"Ahhh!" "It's extremely tedious being at home each day."
"Now this is what I needed."
"After being home for 8 months, I now appreciate the classroom and the school as a whole..."
"Social interaction is an integral part of education."
