  • You think someone's having a Stroke? Act F.A.S.T. Call Doctors Hospital
  • Boy walks into kitchen and hugs his grandmother. [Boy wearing school uniform or athletic uniform.  Grandmother wearing house dress with apron]
  • Following the embrace, the boy notices that something is wrong with his grandmother.  [Boy has concerned look on his face]
  • VO:  If you suspect someone's having a stroke, it's best to act F.A.S.T.
  • For each letter in the acronym a new scene appears highlighting the particular warning sign experienced by the grandmother character. [NO BACKGROUND]
  • F.A.S.T.
  • VO:  A stroke can happen to anyone at any time.
  • The letter T appears in this scene along with a Doctors Hospital branded ambulance. [NO BACKGROUND]

  • VO:  Use FAST to remember the warning signs of a  stroke

  • VO: Firstly, look at the person's face, can they smile; is one side drooping? Next, Ask the person to raise both arms.  Does one arm drift downward? Then ask the person to repeat a simple phrase.  Is the speech slurred or strange
  • VO:  If any of these warning signs are  present, Time is of the essence.  Call a Doctors Hospital Ambulance immediately.
  • Every second after a stroke counts.  Call 302-4747 and get the professional emergency care you need.
