  • You don't need anybody else but the military we are the law.
  • Freeze everything to Japan we don't want to get involved.
  • Were going to war with the US they froze our resources.
  • Japanese colonialism was often quite harsh. For the first ten years Japan ruled directly through the military, and any Korean dissent was ruthlessly crushed.
  • Japan moved into southern Indochina. FDR ordered all Japanese assets frozen. But FDR did not want to cut off oil. As he told his Cabinet on July 18, an embargo meant war, for that would force oil-starved Japan. 
  • Were going to war with Japan and any of there alliances. 
  • The US was attacked after cutting off oil and other supplies by Japan. Japan  attacked and the US was not ready due to the untrained army they had.
  • The Japan leader was one of the most important leaders causing the war with the US. He made the Japan army go to war with america and had it as a secret plan.
  • FDR Asks for a Declaration of War. The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941, stunned virtually everyone in the United States military. Japan's carrier-launched bombers found Pearl Harbor totally unprepared.
  • FDR was an important leader as well, He got us out of the depression with his choice to go into ww2.  He declared war with countries and decided to enter ww2.
