(Exposition) Debbie and Maureen have been friends forever but something new is coming between them.
(Problem) The problem of this story is that Glenna comes into Debbie and Maureen's friendship.
(Rising Action) Maureen and Glenna are going on rides while Debbie is watching. Maureen and Glenna are having too much of a good time to notice Debbie is not. She felt off balance.
(Climax) Glenna asked when they would be going to the vacation. Debbie thought finally, but then Glenna's mother said Maureen should spend the night to make sure she gets up. Then Debbie realized that Maureen was going with Glenna at Borth Lake, so she asked to get out of the car.
(Falling Action) When Debbie got out of the car Maureen got out too so she could go talk to Debbie. When they were talking Maureen told Debbie that she was a goof and they were still friends.
(Resolution) At the end nothing really changes but she finally got some alone time with Maureen. She noticed that Maureen would not just dump Glenna right then and there, also that she knew that Maureen saw something in Glenna she didn't.
