The New Jersey Plan!
We have the Virginia Plan and the New Jersey Plan. But, the question is, which do we pick?
The Virginia Plan!
Obviously, we should use the Virginia Plan! A two-house legistaure with representation that's proportional to every state creates accurate voting rates and it will improve how the states are involved in the government.
Yeah, well, what would you expect someone from those states to say?
I guess you're right. Hey! This next guy is from a smaller state, I wonder what he'll say?
Isn't that guy from Virginia, one of the largest states? He is!
No way! The New Jersey Plan is much better and it provides an equal opportunity for all states to participate in government. A one-house legislature with the same number of representatives from each state is much simpler and more effective than the Virginia Plan!
I have an idea! Why don't we use representation methods from both and create a new form a government! I call it the "Great Compromise"!
Where did this guy come from?
Huh. That's a pretty good idea.
All those in favor of this "Great Compromise"? Brilliant!
