  • From 1337-1453  the Hundred Year's War went on between French and England fighting over France.The war was caused by many things including: King Philip VI capturing Guyenne, the French and English fisherman/sailors disagreed about fishing rights, and the French gave the Scots an advantage by helping them when they were having a battle against England.

  • The English took the lead in the victory of the battles because of the new weapon: the longbow which could shoot arrows from far away while stabbing through a shield. 
  • 
  • The English army of 6,000 knights battled 25,000 French knights using the longbow which greatly assisted them and helped kill thouasands of French soldiers
  • 1420
  • Yay! I am now the French king instead of the English king.
  • I agree to the Treaty of Troyes!
  • Here lies King Henry V 
  • After King Henry died, the French started to argue about it which erupted the war again.
  • English led the victory of the war again when they attacked Northern France and took over Orleans.
  • 1429
  • Hi! I'm Joan of Arc and I was born in Domremy, Bar,France in c. 1412. I was raised as a peasant and my father was a farmer. I have had visions and had encounters to where saints have spoken to me, telling me that Charles VII had been chosen by God to defeat the English.
