  • Proclamation of 1763
  • The proclamation of 1763 limited the colonist to a certain area and takes away the ability for them to go to other areas freely.
  • Quartering Act
  • This act required the colonist to provide rooms and boards for the British Soldiers. This got the colonist upset since they were being watched even in their own homes.
  • Boston Massacre
  • The Boston Massacre was used as propaganda that broke out among the colonist and British soldier. Even though they called it a massacre only 5 people died.
  • Tea Act
  • The Tea Act stated the colonist still had to pay the high taxes on tea which they were not to happy about this and it lead to the next event.
  • Boston Tea Party
  • The colonist got so upset that they dressed up as natives and threw over tea into the Harbor. Even by doing this i did not change Britain mind.
  • This Act closed the ports of Boston and if there is no ports they cannot export on import goods. This got the colonist upset yet again.
  • Intolerable Act
