Storyboard Text

  • It was a burden that a thirteen-year-old shouldn't have to deal with. Building up the courage to end things with Bree took until May.
  • I knew I had to escape that friendship.
  • If things get ugly...she'll kill herself.
  • May 7th, to be exact. My birthday.
  • You treat me like garbage!
  • How DARE you? I care so much it feels like I'm DYING!
  • Don't give me that! If you cared so much, you'd ACT like it!
  • You never listen to me! You don't even care!
  • The fight was awful - but it needed to happen.
  • I went home that day and cried. Nothing she said was true...but it still hurt. Deeply.
  • No matter how tense our friendship had become, I never thought she would accuse me of not caring. Especially when it was Bree who didn't care.
  • Days passed...
  • Then weeks...
  • Then months.
  • Life went on.
  • ...And the notecard had "scrotum" written on it...he said that in front of the entire class! We were in hysterics...
  • I've found my happiness.
  • I hope someday Bree finds hers.
