  • More Taxes
  • This is not fair! We pay all the taxes!
  • National Assembly
  • We are done! We don't need them.
  • Louis XVI inherited debt and him and his wife spent even more money buying things from other countries. They are upset in the picture since they are now bankrupt. They then tried to solve this problem.
  • Legislative Assembly
  • Radicals: I don't want a king!
  • Conservatives: I want a king!
  • Since they were all in debt they raised the taxes. In the three estates only the third estate paid and didn't have any say. The third estate was mad and wanted to rebel. In this picture they are outside fighting for no more takes.
  • Robespierre
  • Get out of here! The king was a horrible person! OUT!
  • The third estate formed their own group and left the first and second since the third was 98% of the population. This was the first deliberate action of the french Revolution. In this picture the third estate is leaving.
  • Napolean
  • This mine now and everyone will follow me.
  • After the third estate formed their own group they started to take land from the church, which didn't make other very happy. They then formed the legislative assembly; there were 3 different groups the Radicals, Moderates, and Conservatives.In this you can see the three different groups.
  • Moderates: I really don't care
  • King Louis was soon put to death after. Robespierre came i after him and started to kick out anyone that still liked the king. He wanted to start a "Republic of Virtue". In this picture you can see him kicking the people out.
  • Robespierre ended up being a tyrant and was killed. Napoleon came in after him and the French Revolution ended. He created a new law code and got rid of corrupt officials. He made it the largest empire since Great Britain. He made 3 big mistakes and then got exiled to an island.
