  • Sugar and Stamp Act
  • I have to pay a tax, what are you talking about??!!!
  • Yes, Parliament made these taxes.
  •  No Taxation without Representation
  • No Taxation without Representation.
  • The government issued ‘The Proclamation of 1763’, they made an imaginary line along the Appalachian Mountains, to were the colonist were not aloud to cross. The colonist did not care and ignored it.
  • Townshend Acts/ Reaction
  • Boycott British goods!!
  • The Sugar act was so high the British lowered the tax, then they enforced it so it couldn't be smuggled. The Stamp act was a tax placed on legal documents nd paper. These acts made the colonist upset and angry, and it started to hurt the colonie.
  • Boston Massacre
  • We're going to attack if they attack us.
  • Since the colonists had no representation in Parliament that means Parliament can’t tax them. The colonist were upset that parliament tried to pass taxes without the colonist knowing.
  • Boston Tea Party
  • keep throwing it over board
  • The Townshend Acts were a tax glass, paper paint, lead, and tea, the colonist were upset again. The colonist just started to boycott British goods and the parliament had no choice but to repeal taxes and leave the tax on tea.
  • Come and get your American goods.
  • A large crowd of people from boston yelled and screamed at the British, while throwing objects at them. The British Soldiers got scared and started to fire at the crowd killing about 5 people.
  • Angry colonist had boarded the Boston harbor ship, and dumped about 342 chest of tea into the water as a protest. The British started to make harsh laws.
