  • The Holocaust was a genocide during World War II where Nazi Germany murdered approximately 6 million Jews.
  • The Hitler Stalingrad speech was an address made by Adolf Hitler to senior members of the Nazi Party on November 8th 1942.
  • Adolf Hitler was chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, serving as dictator of the Nazi Party.
  • Along with Jews, other groups such as Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals and political opponents were persecuted and murdered.
  • The Nazi's built a series of concentration camps in Germany for people deemed "undesirable".  Over 42,000 camps, ghettos, and other detention sites were established but the end of World War II.
  • The first official concentration camp opened at Dachau in March 1933. Most of the prisoners sent there were communists.
