The french and the Indian war began this war was a fight between Britain and France that ended up lasting several years.
The reason the war began was because they wanted to decide which nation would get the Ohio river valley. Then Benjamin Franklin proposed the Albany plan of union which was the plan to unite.
Then the pairs treaty finally ended the seven year war in 1763. The treaty also gave Britain all french territory.
All french territory of the mainland in north America was lost.
Britain imposed the proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited american colonists from settling west of Appalachia
The war cost britan a lot of money so they made the colonists pay taxes which made the colonists very angry.
