  • After moving to New York from Chicago he became a very famous trumpet soloist, touring America and Europe. He not only played the trumpet but wrote songs and sang.also helped to invent scat singing. These would all lead to him becoming one of the most famous musicians in the 1920s

  • I moved here from Chicago for a new start and to perform at that fabulous theatre, Hot Chocolates.

  • In his first years with the Yankees, he knocked 54 home runs. The next season he broke his own record by hitting 59 home runs. He was a a 7-time World Series champion and1923 AL MVP. He was named the Greatest baseball player of all time by The Sporting News and the Greatest baseball player of the 20th Century by Sports Illustrated.
