Obama pulls on the strings of peoples emotions in the crowd and those viewing by making them feel good. He talks about how America is and always will be a united nation. He gives examples of how America has very different people, yet we still will always be united.
Obama relates a few stories that can be linked to many people. He uses credible stories that convey his message to the people. People can believe him because they understand what his stories and examples mean.
Obama talks about a woman who is 106 years old named Ann Nixon Cooper who has seen America change throughout her years. He uses the phrase "Yes We Can" in reliance to her life and the new life of America.
