As you can see here, this is an example of Roman architecture. Early Roman architecture heavily borrowed from Greek architecture. However they quickly adapted their own styles.
Many of the Roman buildings were built from brick and marble.
How did the Romans bring water, from faraway places, into their cities?
The Romans built aqueducts to bring a flow of water from faraway places, into their cities. This water is used to supply public baths, latrines, fountains, and more.
Much of today’s official buildings in the US was from Roman architecture!
The Romans used a material called concrete to build large structures covered with domes. Concrete was easier and lighter material than stone.
Examples of famous Roman architecture and structures would be the Colosseum and the Pantheon!
