Storyboard Text

  • Huck and Jim were hanging out on an island when the topic of King Solomon (from the Bible) came up. The two began arguing on whether this king, who had offered to cut a child in two, was wise or not.
  • Metaphor: " But hang it, Jim, you've clean missed the point--blame it, you've missed it a thousand mile. "
  • Huck and Jim continue to argue about whether having different languages is sensible or not. However, after a bit, Huck decides to quit. Sometimes, it's best to leave matters alone instead of continuing something pointless.
