  • Rita, I think it would be in our best interest to not create a mass market brand based off of my SWOT analysis
  • Why's that, Jim?
  • To start off, the threats out way the opportunities
  • We are at risk for losing the gold seal, a price war, and product cannibalization
  • But we have a huge opportunity to capture the low-end market!
  • It's apparent that we are not making a profit due to manufacturing loss and our margins have sunk 10%, I still don't see the value.
  • I understand, but looking at Gucci, Mercedes Benz, Tiffany, BMW, and Hyatt they have struggled launching a mass market brand without tarnishing their brand. We would struggle in a similar way.
  • The reputation of our brand is on the line and I just don't think creating a mass market brand would be beneficial in terms of longevity for Neptune's brand.
