  • scene one - What happened
  • omg I'm so excited for tomorrow!
  • how come I wasn't invited. do they not like me? I must be a boring person!☹️
  • Me too!
  • scene two - inside feelings
  • I'm so mad! I can't believe no one invited me to come.
  • I'm really sad and everyone hates me!
  • I'm really jealous of them they even invited Sarah! no one even likes her.
  • I have no friends and I'm lonely!
  • scene three - outward expression
  • Are you Ok Sophie?
  • I'M FINE! Just leave me alone if you're going to be mean and exclude me from things.
  • All sophie's friends are going to a concert on the weekend except you. They keep talking about it around her but they don't invite her.
  • scene four - self-awareness
  • I shouldn't have acted like that and gotten angry so easily. Next time I should be more calm and explain how I'm feeling to them.
  • Sophies really sad because her friends haven't invited you to go with them. She feel a lot of emotions but mostly sadness, jealousy, anger and loneliness.
  • scene five - emotional regulation
  • Well first you need to calm down maybe take some deep breaths or have a shower?
  • Sophie tries to act calming act like she isn't bothered but this doesn't work. she just. ends up getting mad at everyone.
  • Scene six - Repair relationships
  • I'm really sorry I acted the way I did yesterday. I just felt left out because you guys are all going to the concert together.
  • Sophie realises she acted out wrong but has no idea how to fix this. Especially since she is still really angry she needs to calm down before she does anything.
  • Sophie isn't sure what she should do so she goes to ask her mum. Her mum gives her some good advice on how to calm down and how to make the situation better.
  • Oh Mum, I got really mad at my friends over something small and now I'm sure they all hate me! what should I do?
  • Then tomorrow at school you should probably apologise to them for getting mad.
  • Sophie tells her friends how she feels and why she acted the way she did. she also apologises for her behaviour. They even invite her to go with them.
  • It's ok and we're sorry for not inviting you. we have a spare ticket if you want to come?
