Storyboard Text

  • Without the first amendment, we would not have the right to protest.
  • We have this right to keep the government from being too powerful.
  • It also ensures that everyone's voice can be heard.
  • Most changes in politics happens due to protests.
  • That is true! Politicians see what people are passionate about and make a difference.
  • Many protests occur in large cities, but they can happen anywhere.
  • This allows more people to participate.
  • Recent protests include March for our lives, me too, and black lives matter.
  • This shows that anyone can fight for anything they support.
  • It can be very difficult to make a change in politics.
  • But protesting is a great place to start!
