Storyboard Text

  • Oh my god! Are you Mary Antoinete?
  • No kind youngster, I am Marie Curie, a physicist born in Warsaw, Poland in 1867.
  • Thats so interesting!  Hey your kinda cute. Wanna talk about this over lunch at my place?
  • The Bagel
  • Um no little boy, but I'm in for a walk. Lets go!
  • So tell me about yourself! What are you most proud of (other than your striking looks)?
  • Throughout my times as a scientist in 1891-1914 I am proud of my accomplishments such as discovering radium and polonium which contributed to my success receiving the Nobel Prize.
  • Not to brag, but I was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize AND the first person to win 2 of them! Those awards were also awarded in two different fields: chemistry and physics. My invention of the word radioactivity is still used today and I became the first female professor at the University of Paris.
  • Thats crazy! What else?
  • Thats ok because I also was a major contributor in the development of X-rays!
  • Oh no I've fallen! I think I broke my leg!
  • It was so nice to meet you and I learned so much but im still finna get those digits...
  • Haha nice try but I changed the face of science so im a little out of your league. Nice meeting you! Bye!
