  • 5pm: Time to cook & feed Matilda
  • 5.30-6pm: bath time Matilda
  • 6.30pm: time for sleep Matilda, but you keep crying. You're fed, bathed, you have had your bottle, but still you won't sleep. Mummy's so tired!!!!
  • Yes, finally! Took forever, then I had to pack for care tomorrow, she needs so much stuff!
  • She can be so difficult! Well, dinner's ready. Let's eat!
  • 8.30pm: is she down?
  • 10pm: Are you coming to bed soon?
  • Yes, soon. I've got quite a bit of prep for a new client meeting tomorrow. It will be a rush to get to child care in the morning!
  • 11pm-3am: Matilda has an allergic reaction to egg from her dinner. She is rushed to emergency hospital for inflammatory medication. She is kept awake until signs of reduced inflammation are evident. 3-4am: Matilda experiences a "nappy explosion," soiling everything she was wearing and the bed linen. 4-6am: Matilda sleeps in bed with Sarah and Tom. She is restless, keeping them both from sleeping deeply.
