Parents+School=Synchronous "3 Tech Strategies to Keep Parents in Sync with School"
Positive Social Interactions "It's Not About the Technology; It's About the Relationships"
Digital Citizenship-->Digital Discipleship "How to be Catholic Online"
School and home communication is imperative for classroom success. Three successful ways to do this are to: Flip your back to school night, by making a creative online presentation about yourself, get resourceful about sending vital information by a real-time messaging service, called Remind, and by hosting student-led technology nights for parents, where they can teach their parents how they will share content with them throughout the year.
Technology can revolutionize the classroom and the students’ learning, but it is imperative that they learn how to positively interact with each other. All stakeholders should be teaching the students the value of promoting the Gospel message through the use of technology.
Technology can be used as a tool for evangelization and catechesis, just as it has been used as a tool for learning, innovation and collaboration. Partnering with parishes, and catholic organizations may provide the students with safe environments to build their relationship with Jesus, while encouraging the students to create digital content that can draw people into Faith.
