  • SARS is a communicable respiratory disease that can end up being fatal to some people.
  • For most people SARS can start off by having some symptoms of the flu like fevers, muscle aches, chills, and headaches but the most recognizable symptoms of this disease is shortness of breath and a dry cough
  • SARS is caused by a certain strain of the coronavirus and it is in the same family of viruses that causes the common cold. SARS is spread from drops of saliva or whenever it comes out of a persons mouth when they cough, sneeze, or talk.
  • A Few ways you prevent from getting this disease is to wash your hands, wear a mask to protect yourself from what could fly from a person mouth you can also wear glasses for extra protection , wash your personal items like your bedsheets and towels, and disinfect surfaces like your bathroom sink or the kitchen counter something that has a chance of being contaminated
  • If you think you have SARS call and possibly make an appointment with your doctor or go to your nearest urgent care if something alarming has happened. Also please go in quarantine for at least 10 days if you come into contact with anyone or if you have SARS to protect yourself and the others around you this disease is very contagious and could cause a big outbreak if you are not careful
