Storyboard Text

  • Shot 1- Wide establishing shot showing interior living room with burglar
  • Shot 2- Close-up of burglar
  • Huh? That safe's gotta be around here somewheres.
  • Shot 3- Medium shot showing burglar and painting
  • Ah-hah!
  • Production MUSIC begins. BURGLAR is walking around the room.
  • Shot 4- Close- up of burglar as he presses  ear against safe
  • This looks easy to crack.
  • BURGLAR is looking  for safe inside the mansion
  • Shot 5- Medium shot of the safe door opening
  • BURGLAR moves a painting on the wall. The painting is actually hinged and hides a safe from view. 
  • Shot 6- Close-up of contents of safe
  • BURGLAR presses his ear against safe and prepares to crack the lock code so he can get the goods. BURGLAR spins the dial and we can hear the  TUMBLERS CLICKING.
  • BURGLAR pulls down the safe handle (CLICK). He then swings open the door revealing the contents of the safe.
  • Instead of finding money in the safe, the safe holds the owner's prized bowling trophy.
