One night, the man stayed up late to read a book.
Then, he heard a gentle knock on the door, which startled him. Once he opened the door, a raven flew into his bedroom. Then, he started to ask the raven questions about his wife Lenore.
Then, he started to yell at the raven because the only response it gave to him was ,"Nevermore."
The man got so angry at the raven that finally, he just gave up on asking it questions and he sat down.
The next moment, The man tells the raven to leave his house but the raven just sat there and never left.
The main conflict in this poem is raven vs. narrator.
