  • Newtons Laws of Motion
  • Newtons Laws of Motion
  • This is an example of Newtons first law of motion which states an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon an unbalanced force. In this situation the blue player kicks the ball to the red player.
  • Blue- Here catch.
  • Newtons 1st Law
  • Newtons 1st Law
  • The ball is in mid-air and nothing is acting upon it yet.
  • Blue-Here is comes. Red- I got It.
  • Carter Chandler
  • The ball was acted upon an unbalanced force. The unbalanced force was the red player catching the ball.
  • Red- I caught it. Blue- Nice catch!
  • Newtons Laws of Motion
  • I am going to roll the ball down the beach.
  • Newtons 2nd Law
  • Newtons 2nd Law of Motion
  • GO! GO! GO!
  • Carter Chandler
  • The ball stopped. I will go get it.
  • This picture shows Newton's 2nd Law of motion. The boy will roll the ball down the beach with 20N and the balls mass is 3N. He is rolling the ball with 17N.
  • The ball is rolling at 17N but their is a force acting upon it and it is rolling friction. Also the sand might be causing the ball to slow down because of the microwelds of the ball and the sand.
  • The ball has stoped because their is no more force acting on the ball. Also the sand caused the ball to slow down because of the microwelds of the sand and the ball.
