Storyboard Text

  • Susanne Thompson here with Channel 3 news and right now I'm at Bagreg Street where many people visit on a daily basis.
  • Today we are going to take a look at some of the most popular businesses here.
  • Behind me is the our first stop, the Bagreg Library ,which is the oldest building on Bagreg street.
  • Back in 1831 my Great Grandfather bought this piece of private property causing it to be his own building. Since he owned the building he didn't need to worry about paying another person who is trying to make a profit off of this land.
  • Let me show you around.
  • It looks like it hasn't changed since then.
  • Bagreg Library
  • The library is always passed down to the first child and only to direct family. We keep all of our information in these huge books instead of buying computers to keep data.
  • Thank you for the tour.
  • The library is run like a Traditional Economy, like Haiti,so it is run the same way it was run the day it opened in 1831.
  • Where are all the computers ?
  • 1831
  • Behind me is the lunch hot spot in this town and our second stop.
  • Sunshine Cafe
  • I run this place like a Command Economy, like North Korea, so everyone does what I say and only I choose what changes.
  • Sure, follow me.
  • Can you show me a behind the scenes look?
