  • Oppenheimer wasn't in this project alone. Knut Haukelid, even though he never met him, was a crucial part that made the building of the bomb go smoother. He provided him with top secret information and spied. pg. 35
  • Haukelid didn't put up with the Nazis so one day,on a boat he took him and threw him off the boat. "The only thing left floating was his hat." pg.36
  • Wow, i seriously just sunk the Hydro.
  • Haukelid was a very important man in the mission to destroy the Venmork concentration installation. They succeed in destrying it thanks to his sneaky ways and brilliant ideas. pg.87

He followed him to Oslo, rented an apartment right across from his and listened on the phone line, evesdropping on all his phone calls. He hoped to catch some important information,but didn't find much. He almost got himself caught, but escaped and biked to Great Britain. pg.36
  • "British Intelligence gave the job to the man in Norway with the most experience in sabotage: Knut Haukelid." He will forever be remembered by his biggest accomplishment when him and his crew sunk and sabotaged the ferry, Hydro. They sunk it so the Germans lost most of their valuable supplies along with some crew members. The big news of this spread fast throughout. pg. 110
  • "If anything had gone wrong with the ferry job, his mission was to try again and destroy the heavy water before it sailed for Germany" After they succeed he took a train back to Oslo where he looked at a newspaper titled: "Railway Ferry Hydro Sunk." pg.115
