Storyboard Text

  • Street Riot; Act 1, Scene 1
  • I do but keep the peace. Put up thy sword, or manage it to part these men with me.
  • What, drawn and talk of peace? I hate the word, As i hate hell, all Montagues, and thee. Have at thee, coward.
  • Marry, that 'marry' is the very theme i came to talk of. Tell me, daughter Juliet, How stands your disposition to be married?
  • Talk of Marriage; Act 1, Scene 3
  • Peace, i have done. God mark thee to his grace, Thou wast the prettiest babe that e'er i nurs'd. And i might live to see thee married once, I have my wish.
  • It is an honour that I dream not of.
  • Masquerade Ball; Act 1, Scene 5
  • Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake.
  • Then move not while my prayer's effect I take. Thus from my lips, by thine, my sin is purg'd.
  • A violent street fight breaks out between a Montague servant and a Capulet servant. Benvolio wants to stop the fight but Tybalt begins to attack him.
  • Lady Capulet and Nurse talk to Juliet about marriage. They think she should marry Count Paris. Juliet is not ready for marriage and she does not love Count Paris.
  • Juliet and Romeo meet for the first time at the ball. They instantly fall in love and he kisses her. They do not know that their love is forbidden yet.
