Storyboard Text

  • Haste me to know't, that I, with wings as swift As meditation or the thoughts of love, May sweep to my revenge.
  • What art thou that usurp'st this time of night, together with that fair and warlike form in which the majesty of buried Denmark   did sometimes march? by heaven I charge thee, speak!
  • Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder.
  • How strange or odd soe'er I bear myself (As I perchance hereafter shall think meet To put an antic disposition on)
  • Oh, what a senseless, horrible act!
  • What’s this, a rat? I’ll bet a buck he’s a dead rat now.

  • Ere we were two days old at sea, a pirate of very warlike appointment gave us chase. On the instant, they got clear of our ship, so I alone became their prisoner. They have dealt with me like thieves of mercy, but they knew what they did; I am to do a good turn for them.
  • Hamlet vows to take revenge on Claudius and decides to put on a charade of madness to keep  people  from suspecting that he knows something about who married his father.
  • I loved Ophelia. Forty thousand brothers Could not with all their quantity of love make up my sum.
  • Hamlet and Gertrude have a fight in her chambers while Polonius listens behind a curtain, hoping to ascertain whether Hamlet is mad with love for Ophelia. When things start to turn violent, Polonius calls for help and Hamlet stabs him through the curtain thinking that it must be King Claudius.
  • Gertrude, do not drink.
  • I will, my lord. I pray you, pardon me.
  • Hamlet is exiled to England for the death of Polonius with his friends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern whom Claudius had instructed to kill Hamlet. Hamlet finds out and has them killed. The ship is taken over by pirates but Hamlet survives by telling them that he is royalty and that he is worth more as ransom.
  • Hamlet returns to Denmark to find that Ophelia has killed herself after the death of her father and rejection from Hamlet. Laertes challenges Hamlet to a duel for the death of his father and Ophelia.
