Once upon a time in the island of Hawaii,there was a volcano named Mauna Loa. The gigantic volcano erupts once every six years, making it one of the most active volcanoes on planet Earth.
But that wasn´t all. Living next to Mauna Loa was a little volcano named Kohala.
Time for what exactly?
It is almost time!
The eruption my friend! You see, big volcanoes like me splash out hot lava from inside us. That is why humans do not come near us.
Wow! That is quite the scare...what exactly causes the hot lava to burst out of you?
And they cause the movement of crustal plates. The convection currect is the movement of a gas or a liquid caused by difference of temperature.
You see, we live on plate tectonics, which are basically moving land on our planet. There are these things called convection currents in the Earths mantle...
