  • This is Jenny Like you and I, Jenny has a brain.
  • Brains, like Jenny's, have different parts that do different things that make up Jenny's emotions and actions
  • Lets watch Jenny walk down the street and observe the parts of the brain at work!
  • Jenny is walking down the street She is able to do this because of her Cerebellum 
  • The Cerebellum controls balance, posture, movement and muscles
  • Jenny sees a bird. She can see the bird b/c of her Occipital lobe. The Occipital Lobe cotains the vision center  
  • Jenny hears cars passing by. This is b/cs of her Temporal Lobe that controls hearing
  • Jenny feels the railing with her hand. This is  the work of the Parietal Lobe, it contains important sensory centers 
  • Jenny is at a candy store and decides on Chocolate. This is bcs of her Frontal Lobe that controls problem solving and decision making
