  • What is  Overpopulation?
  • What is overpopulation?
  • Overpopulation is when the human population has risen to such a large extent that areas and countries suffer because of the mass number of people.
  • It started because of the Industrial Revolution.
  • Living conditions meant that even though there were many births, there were also many deaths.
  • The Industrial Revolution brought better medicines, housing and ways of living.
  • This meant families did not have to be as large because the percentage deaths would decrease. Population grew.
