What is Overpopulation?
What is overpopulation?
Overpopulation is when the human population has risen to such a large extent that areas and countries suffer because of the mass number of people.
It started because of the Industrial Revolution.
Living conditions meant that even though there were many births, there were also many deaths.
The Industrial Revolution brought better medicines, housing and ways of living.
This meant families did not have to be as large because the percentage deaths would decrease. Population grew.
