  • In Charleston South Carolina the Confederate soldiers shot towards the Union soldiers. Although there were no reported injuries the bombing of Fort Sumter was the start of the worst, bloodiest, and cruel war. The Civil War.

  • In Prince William County Virginia on July 21st 1861 the first major battle of the Civil War occurred when the Union came from the federal capital in Washington D.C to attack the Confederate. The confederate won with 1,750 people injured while the Union lost with 2,950 people injured.

  • In Sharps burg Maryland on September 17th 1862 the bloodiest and most deadly battle of any United States battle occurred although there was no winner there was over 23,000 people injured and 3,650 people died.
