A long time ago in France there was a little land called Acadia. The Acadia were not French, but they lived in France territory and they Spoke their language. And now I'm going to tell you how Acadia became part of British territory and how they got expelled from Acadia.
A long time ago the French lost the war to the British and now the Acadians are British territory
Now that the acadians are part of British territory the crown wanted the acadians to sign an oath of allegiance. The acadians do not want to sign an oath of allegiance so they said okay we won't sign an oath of allegiance but we will sign an oath of neutrality.
