  • Parmesan cheese is expensive due to high global demand. Mantova, Italy is the only region in the world that has a specific cow breed to produce the dairy that makes parmesan cheese.

  • We have a numerous amount of machinery to help solidify, soak up and ripen. In the ripening room, there are about 17 billion pounds of stacked parmesan cheese.
  • Very interesting. How do you ensure that the parmesan cheese does not run out of stock?
  • Parmesan cheese is put in a salt bath for about 8 hours to get the distinct flavour of smell. It is then ripened for about two years. To see if the cheese is ready. a hammer is used to check the hardness.
